The master-planned community of Windsong Ranch in Prosper, TX is very excited to announce the opening of the much-anticipated Windsong Ranch Elementary School. Windsong Ranch announced in March 2015 the addition of the new school to the Cadence neighborhood in the master-planned community.
So what can we look forward to? We highlighted a few elements of Windsong Ranch Elementary that every family should be proud of:
No Bully Zone
Bullying is not tolerated at Windsong Ranch Elementary School, and any student or parent of a student is encouraged to report any incidents. Online reports have also been made available to create an easier process for your family.
Eagle Flight Crew
The Football team at Prosper High School has invited all K-5 students to join the Eagle Flight Crew. So what is the Eagle Flight Crew? Well, Flight Crew Members will join the Eagles Football players on the field for Friday night games as they run through the Eagle Stadium tunnel. What better way to get involved and become a part of the team? Your child will be able to meet and greet the Eagle Varsity Players, receive a replica Eagle jersey and team poster.
Safety & Community
Craig Martin, Founding Partner of Terra Verde Group, stated that having a safe way for children and families to walk or bike was always part of the master plan for Windsong Ranch. In fact, there is already a trail that goes under Fishtrap Road so it can be crossed safely. He also believes Windsong’s strong sense of community will be enhanced by the opening of the elementary school, especially because Prosper ISD is one of the highest-ranked school districts in the state of Texas. The future is sure looking bright already!
