Windsong Ranch Elementary is the first of many to be located within the master-planned community of Windsong Ranch, and the sixth Elementary School in the top-performing Prosper Independent School District.
Construction on Windsong Elementary began in May 2015 inside the Cadence neighborhood of Windsong Ranch with an inaugural attendance of 500 for the 2016-2017 school year, which grew to 900 students in time for the current school year.
Improving the Lives of our Residents
“We are thrilled to officially have Windsong Ranch Elementary on the map for Prosper families,” said Craig Martin, Founding Partner of Terra Verde Group, the developer of Windsong Ranch.
In fact, we are so excited to continue improving the lives of our residents that an underground walkway was created to allow students and parents to cross Fishtrap Road safely before and after school. “Providing children the opportunity to safely walk or bike to school has always been part of the master plan of Windsong Ranch,” explained Martin.
Eyes on the Future
Prosper ISD has plans to construct an additional Elementary and a Middle School within the gates of Windsong Ranch in the coming years, adding even more family-centric amenities for Windsong families to enjoy.
