You can also choose to pay extra for a bag of food to feed the animals. The best part? It’s less than two hours away from Prosper!
Picnic in the park: Nothing is more valuable than time spent with family, free from technological stimulation. Pack a lunch, grab a blanket, and head out to one of Prosper’s beautiful parks for a lovely, old fashioned picnic. We recommend checking out Boyer Park, Eagle’s Landing Park, and Town Lake Park!
Gentle Creek Golf Club: Swing by Gentle Creek Golf Club in Prosper for a relaxing day on the green. The Gentle Creek golf course is just minutes away, making it extremely convenient!
Heard Museum: Teach your children the importance of preserving of our beautiful north Texas wildlife, all while having fun! The Heard Museum in McKinney offers exciting exhibits and nature trails for all ages. We suggest trying out the Owl Prowl night hike! Be sure to make reservations in advance.
Gaylord Texan: Talk about fun for the whole family! The Gaylord Texan [link] offers countless amenities for all ages. Paradise Springs [link] opens this Monday, which includes a 6,000 sq ft lagoon, tubing river, winding water slide, and a zipline. On the weekends, the hotel offers entertainment for the kids while you eat at one of the six restaurants or go shopping. There is also a fitness center and spa so you can unwind while the children play.
