Construction of the highly anticipated clear lagoon inside the residential community of Windsong Ranch has begun in earnest. The five-acre, man-made, fresh water lagoon by Crystal Lagoons will be the first of its kind in a residential community in the Dallas area.
THE LAGOON, as the amenity is called, will bring a Caribbean beach-like lifestyle to the community. Residents will soon be able to enjoy an array of watersports including stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, windsurfing, and sailing all while surrounded by white sand beaches similar to those found at any tropical beach destination. This new amenity will be for the private enjoyment of Windsong Ranch residents and their guests only.
Construction is expected to take approximately 18 months with current plans to have THE LAGOON open for residents to enjoy by spring 2019.
Windsong Ranch is a 2,030-acre residential development by Terra Verde Group, located at 1001 Windsong Parkway South, just 2.5 miles west of the Dallas North Tollway on the north side of Highway 380 in Prosper, TX.
The community’s significant amenity package, now headlined by the clear lagoon, also offers its residents over 600 acres of green space woven throughout the property including numerous parks, open play areas, creeks, ponds and miles of hike and bike trails.

Windsong Ranch Elementary is enjoying its second year and there are plans to have an additional elementary school, a middle school and high school within the community.
Upon completion, Windsong Ranch will consist of 3,100 single-family homes and 100 acres of mixed-use development along U.S Highway 380.
