This March marked the 9th anniversary of breaking ground at Windsong Ranch. In 2014, we welcomed our first residents, and our journey began to create the award-winning 2,030-acre master-planned residential community you know and love today.
Windsong Ranch is one of the largest and most naturally beautiful master-planned communities in North Texas. It boasts over 600 acres of open space, lakes, wooded creeks, parks, hike & bike trails, outdoor fields, and resort-style amenities. And it all began with a vision back in June 2012 when we purchased the 2,030-acres with the dream of delivering a uniquely different type of residential community. One that celebrates neighbors as friends, thoughtfully offers amenities to enhance the life of every resident no matter their age, and works to preserve and protect the natural landscape of the land on which the community sits.
The initial phase of Windsong Ranch included approximately 275 single-family homes. We’ve come a long way from our initial opening with just three builders by our side to now having a group of 11 of the most talented builders known for their expertise, quality, and unrivaled excellence. Today, our land plan provides for just over 3,000 homes in a beautiful selection of neighborhoods.
We have celebrated some exciting milestones over the past nine years, from breaking ground in 2014, our first elementary school in 2016, and the opening of multiple new neighborhoods in 2021. One of our most newsworthy moments was in 2019 when we introduced THE LAGOON, our 5-acre freshwater Caribbean-like lagoon with three white-sand beaches. It quickly became one of our proudest accomplishments and the most popular amenity for Windsong Ranch residents. Since its introduction, THE LAGOON has been the gold standard in community amenity offerings. This resident-exclusive amenity is still the only one of its kind in North Texas.
Our community has received over 40 awards celebrating our land plan design, unique amenities, unrivaled lifestyle, creativity, and sales success. These range from regional to national awards and accolades and include the coveted National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC) Award for Master Planned Community of the Year, multi-year awards for our Lifestyle Program, our Lifestyle Director, and even our Community Signage. All highlight the fact that there was no detail overlooked in the design and development of Windsong Ranch.
Windsong Ranch will ultimately include:

- Four onsite schools.
- One hundred fifty acres of commercial and retail offerings.
- Six hundred acres of beautiful and peaceful green space with miles of meandering walking trails.
Our journey has been extraordinary, and now with more phases, neighborhoods, amenities, and builders opening this year, we have just hit our stride. The very best is yet to come.
