Halloween is days away and the Windsong Ranch Spooktacular event is coming up! The night before Halloween is the perfect night to have a Hallow’s Eve party to celebrate Halloween to come! For those of you throwing your own Hallow’s Eve parties, it can be difficult to figure out exactly what to serve. Guests always have their own preferences and it’s hard to make sure everyone’s suited. That’s why Windsong Ranch has put together five spooktacular foods for your Hallow’s Eve party!

Chocolate Mice

This simple treat will have every party goer reaching for seconds! These “chocolate mice” combine chocolate, cookie crumbs, candy and almonds into one amazing party favor. They’re prepared quickly but take a little time to cool off so plan accordingly. Enjoy!

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

One of the simplest options for a party, roasted pumpkin seeds are a favorite of everyone in the fall. Grab pumpkin seeds, melt butter, season and let the oven do the rest of the work.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

These are sure to have all the ghouls and goblins in attendance reaching for more! These wonderfully spicy iced pumpkin cookies are sure to delight kids and parents alike. Preparation will take roughly 20 minutes, and cook time is about the same.

Spooky Witches’ Fingers

This is a modern take on a traditional holiday cookie recipe. This will surely spook all of your guests! Bake the cookies, use food coloring to create the fingernails, serve and scare. Prep time is around 35 minutes, and cooking will take roughly 30 minutes.

Dirt Cake

This will certainly be a great conversation starter at your Halloween party! Adults love it as much as the children do. Grab a new garden trowel, medium sized flower pot (or whatever size will fit your home) and artificial flower at a craft store for full effect!

We hope you give these recipes a try at your Prosper home Hallow’s Eve party and then head over to Windsong Spooktacular Halloween night for a no-hassle scary good time! Details of Spooktacular are on the flyer below!
